Rules 12. Determining Championship (A)
The Competition shall be
run on a knock-out principle, in accordance with the Laws of the Game and
the rules of the Competition which provide that ties must be settled on a
one match basis. The
Management Committee shall make the draw for the various rounds, fix the dates
and kick-off times, with the first drawn Club in each tie being at home unless
mutually agreed and sanctioned by the Management Committee. All matches shall be of 90 minutes, with 30 minutes extra-time if a draw after normal time. If the result still remains a draw the tie will be decided by by the taking of penalty kicks from the Penalty mark as set out in the appendix to the Laws of the Game. The referee is entitled to reduce normal time to 60 minutes, extra time to 20 minutes or to dispense with extra-time and go straight to the penalty competition if conditons make this necessary to obatain a decision. All
matches to the semi-final stage of the Jack Perry Trophy are to be played by a
date determined by the Mangement Committee. Both Clubs in each match must send
